Lidia Sends a Letter to Raquel

Dear Raquel,

We are having a happy holiday here! We arrived six days ago and are staying in a beautiful hotel in town.

Yesterday we went to see the museum and walk along a park, and in the evening we went to a famous restaurant in Viena.

At the moment we are in the Salon de Viena listening to an Opera.

My favourite area is the Old Town. There is a famous castle and a church with beautiful sculptures. You'd really like it.

Hernan's trip to Misiones

I went to Misiones last July with my family. We went by car.
We stayed in a hotel in Puerto Iguazu for a week. The hotel was very nice and cheap.
During the day we visited the Cataratas del Iguazu where we walked several kilometres. We took a lot of photos. Other places that we visited were the Ruinas de San Ignacio, the Salto Encantado and Paraguay. At night we had dinner in Jardin America with my parents. We bought clothes and electronics in Paraguay, and we bought fruit, plants and aboriginal crafts in Misiones.
We had a fantastic time. In July Misiones has good weather. This province has a lot of tourist attractions to visit. We only had a problem in the route in Corrientes province because it was broken in some parts.

Luciana's trip to Uruguay

I went to Uruguay last January. I went with my family by ship -Buquebus. I stayed there in a flat for a month.
We had breakfast every morning. During the day we walked by the sea, visited different places and took photos. At night we went to restaurants. I didn't buy anything but we had a good time.
There is a special atmosphere in Uruguay and the food is great.

Juan Manuel's trip to Mar del Plata

I went to Mar del Plata last March with my father and friends. I went by bus but my father and friends went by car.

We stayed four days in a big flat in the centre. During the day we walked around the beach and the city. We went to the restaurants and ate fish. At night we went to parties. We had a great time. The last day we bought gifts and traditional "alfajores" for my family.

I like Mar del Plata very much. Next year we'll probably come back.

Gustavo's trip to Brazil

I went to Brazil on holiday. I went on the first days of last April. I went with my girlfriend. We travelled by Gol Airways. We stayed in Brazil for two weeks. We stayed in a small flat of my friends. They live in 'Barra da la Goa', an island of Florianopolis. It was very nice, and next to the beach. During the day we went to the beach and we took a boat to the sea. We bought presents for the family and friends. It was excellent! Very nice and very hot. The problem: we missed the plane to return here.
